Frequently Asked Questions

Can I contribute to the blog?

In most cases, yes. We welcome researchers from many disciplines to post on the University of Wyoming Research Blog. The best method of becoming a blog author is to contact the Office of Research and Economic Development. Depending on the volume of contributions, we will provide researchers with a window in which they can publish a new post. This will allow us to maintain a stream of new posts without flooding the blog. If you have time sensitive blog posts, we will be happy to accommodate.

We look forward to hearing from you and can’t wait to help share your research.

What is the purpose of the research blog?

The main goal of the research blog is to create a common venue where researchers can share their research in a casual form. Often times the public does not get to see the behind the scenes component of research. This should be a comfortable environment without field specific jargon, think of it as a conversation with someone who has never heard of your research before.

We are still in the development phase of the blog. We are working to make a mobile friendly version right now and will announce when it is complete. Sorry for the wait but we think it will be worth it!

The blog does not load correctly on my computer, what should I do?

If you experience any issues with the blog please notify us. You may email Please include the issue you are experiencing, as well as the Internet browser you use. The more specific you can be, the faster we will be able to resolve the issue.
